Use of AI

We use AI tools to assist with editing content, creating and updating the website, and developing graphic materials. These tools serve only a supporting role in editorial, technical and visual work. We do not use them with the intention of misleading readers, simulating reality or presenting people, events, places or products as different from what they actually are.

AI-assisted illustrations are not evidence of real events or documentation of particular people, places or products. Our brand graphics are illustrative. City photographs carry their own attribution and licence information. Any illustration that could be mistaken for a documentary photograph should be identified individually, so readers can distinguish illustration from factual information.

Sources, rights and corrections

Photograph credits identify the author, source, licence and changes. A photograph's licence does not automatically apply to other website materials or third-party recordings. External links are provided for context; linked services control their own content and terms.
